| Bio-Synthesis helps to protect children |

Released on: May 10, 2008, 2:37 am

Press Release Summary: Bio-Synthesis offers SafeID or DNA profiles for young children. This DNA information can help identify missing children and many times where they have been. It can also help to identify what they look like now and what they may look like in the future.
Press Release Body: If you have heard of an Amber Alert, then you are probably aware that almost every day there is a new alert posted a chilling fact another child has gone missing. The U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention has issued only an approximate estimate of how many children have gone missing each year.
The number is quickly rising. In the year 2005 only, an estimated 662,960 children were reported missing; 58 percent were girls, and 33 percent of the children were black. There were 16,897 cases where children were the victims of the most serious, long-term non-family abductions called “stereotypical kidnappings”.
Having your child’s unique 15 genetic loci DNA profile, can help authorities recover and identify your child quickly. A searchable DNA databank, also known as CODIS, is used by FBI and local police departments, as one of many tools to help locate missing persons. Many children have gone missing for years, and even though their pictures are posted everywhere, they can be hard to recognize.
The genetic material, that is DNA, stays constant. Each child inherits different genes, thereby, making him/her genetically unique. Bio-Synthesis offers a SafeID card that will display your child’s current picture with his/her unique 15 genetic loci DNA Profile.
Other physical characteristics such as height, weight, hair color, eye color, DOB, or any unique birth marks or physical characteristic particular to your child, can be found on the card as well. In case your child is abducted, this card can be given to law enforcement.

| Protest turnouts down from last year |

Released on: May 2, 2008

Press Release Summary: Immigration Protester participation in this year’s May Day has waned this year in light of President George Bush’s new amnesty laws. The numbers projected were no where near the actual turn out.Bio-Synthesis, Inc. is a DNA testing laboratory that offers critical analysis of genetic DNA samples, including for immigration cases. With over 20 years of experience in genomic, proteomic and molecular genetic research, Bio-Synthesis offers Legal DNA tests for immigration purposes worldwide for clients seeking fast, accurate and reliable results.
Press Release Body: This year’s May Day was significantly less impressive than previous years. With protester turn outs lower than projected, it left their message less than boisterous. From New York City to Washington D.C. protesters numbers dwindled. Last year in Chicago projected numbers were 150,000 and this year that number has dropped dramatically to less than 5,000.
May Day, started in 2005, is a day in which people protest the treatment of illegal immigrants within the United States. This year is the first year the numbers have not met its 6 digit mark.
Some attribute the fewer numbers to Bush’s amnesty plan, which grants citizenship to many illegal immigrants within the United States. It stipulates a shorter wait time and smaller fees for illegal immigrants currently residing in America.
Each year, hundreds of thousands of people attempt to become U.S. citizens and wish to bring their loved ones with them. For some countries, this is a simple task with a minimal wait time and nominal fees. For many other countries, this task can take years and cost hundreds of dollars.
As it stands now, in 3rd world countries, documents are frequently falsified. Therefore DNA testing is required to be performed for any citizen of the U.S. petitioning for their relatives to acquire, Immigrant Visas, U.S. Citizenship, or even U.S. Passports.
This process is done through the U.S. Embassies in the respective countries. Each beneficiary, or foreigner wishing to come to America must register with the Embassy; go through an interviewing process, and then finally a DNA test to confirm relation with the petitioner, or citizen residing within the U.S. This can cost anywhere from $450.00 to upwards of $1,000.00. Once the DNA test is completed, the beneficiary must go through the entire process one more time before they are granted their visas.
“It’s very sad.” said Michelle Alberty, DNA Testing Lab Coordinator for Bio-Synthesis, Inc. “These nice people wait so long just to come to America, but I think it’s necessary.” |
