| Genetic Reconstruction DNA Test Participants |
|
Any biological member of a family can participate in genetic reconstruction. The family members involved will depend on the type of relationship that needs to be determined.
For example:
- If the child's father is not available for testing, we may use at least two close relatives of the available alleged father. This can be grandparents, aunt, or uncle
- If the mother is unavailable for testing, an additional close relative of the father needs to be tested.
