Paternity Testing
In some situations, clients may wish to determine paternity of a child that has not yet been born. Prenatal DNA paternity testing is possible. To perform a prenatal paternity test, a special type of sample must be obtained in order to test the child. There are two methods to collect a DNA sample from an unborn child. |

Proof of biological relationship is absolutely necessary in cases regarding immigrant visas to the U.S. Embassies may require either paternity or maternity DNA tests to be performed or a kinship test to identify a biological relationship with a family member other than a mother or father. The DNA Identity Testing Center offers various DNA testing services to assist with the immigration process between the United States and countries around the world. |

Sample Collection
DNA samples may be collected either by a trained professional using the Chain of Custody procedure, or privately (self-collection) using our DNA Collection Kit. The Chain of Custody Collection allows you to use the DNA profile in a legal proceeding, such as child support and Social Security benefit claims. We will coordinate DNA sample collection at one of our local, convenient collection sites. |
