DNA Paternity Tests AABB
When you do an online search for DNA paternity
testing services, you'll find hundreds of
companies that offer them. It is important to
realize that the majority of these companies are
not accredited laboratories. The accrediting body
of DNA relationship testing laboratories is called
the AABB (Advancing Transfusion and Cellular
Therapies Worldwide, formerly American Association
of Blood Banks; http://www.aabb.org/). In order to
gain AABB accreditation, a laboratory must undergo
rigorous, routine inspections to ensure that it
meets or exceeds all stringent standards set forth
by the AABB. All AABB accredited laboratories
participate in ongoing proficiency testing and
have streamlined quality systems. |

AABB Immigration DNA Tests
In most situations, a test will only be considered
legally defensible if the work was performed by an
AABB accredited lab. Although the AABB is only
concerned with legal DNA testing, it is in the
client's best interest to choose an AABB
accredited laboratory, whether they choose a legal
or private test. By choosing an AABB accredited
laboratory, the client can rest assured that they
will receive the highest quality, most accurate
DNA test available.Currently, there are only
forty-something AABB accredited DNA relationship
testing laboratories in the world...far fewer than
what one will find advertised online! Do not be
fooled by false claims...do your research and
verify that the lab you choose is AABB accredited. |
