Chain of Custody Regulations
Chain of Custody Regulations
We adhere strictly to chain-of-custody regulations. These steps/procedures assure that the correct individual is in fact the person from whom the sample is derived (in order to avoid possible fraud). We collect samples from persons all over the US and all over the world, even when involved parties may be located in separate cities/countries. Bio-Synthesis' network of trained and qualified doctors, nurses, and phlebotomists all over the US and the world have been trained to perform buccal swab collections (or blood) following our protocols that ensure that strict chain of custody has been kept during each sample collection.
Legal Paternity Test
Legal Paternity Test
For Legal Paternity Test, an authorized third party must perform the sample collection to establish chain of custody as require by the court. If a legal test is needed, a sample collection appointment will be scheduled by our case consultant upon case setup.
DNA Testing for Paternity
DNA testing for paternity uses a method call the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method. PCR is an extremely effective in analyzing DNA and, as such, can use very small DNA samples. Since your DNA is the same throughout every cell in your body, paternity test results can be determined using DNA samples collected from just about any part of the human body.
