Upon receipt of your BIOSWAB^TM DNA Collection kit, you can easily and painlessly collect the appropriate DNA sample by using our quick and easy instructions.
Return the collected sample to our laboratory for testing.

Legal Paternity Test : 3 Simple Steps

Setup A Test
Call our DNA Specialists at 800-DNA-EXAM (800-362-3926)/888-786-9323 to schedule your Legal DNA Paternity Test. A deposit of $200 is required prior to scheduling the DNA sample collection appointment(s). Appointments are scheduled three to four days in advance. For each individual being tested at a facility other than our headquarters (Bio-Synthesis Lewisville, TX), there is an additional $40/person charge for agency collection or $50.00 for mobile collection. If individuals are located in different areas, we will set up collection appointments at multiple locations.

Attend Sample Collection Appointment
A chain of custody is established when samples are collected at our DNA collection facilities. The alleged father's and child's specimens are required to determine paternity. If the mother is available, it is highly recommended that she submit her DNA sample for testing. Including a DNA sample from the mother can greatly increase both the 'power of discrimination' and the 'probability of paternity'. Finger prints and pictures may be taken at the time of collection to ensure proper identification of subjects in the paternity analysis. A recent photograph of the child is required at the facility if a picture ID or birth certificate is not available. Parents and/or other adults required to bring: Valid Photo ID. Verification of informed consent is required from each test participant (many states require the signature of the legal guardian for children under 18 years of age).

Receive Your Results
After collection of the samples, they are shipped to our laboratory overnight. Please note that test reports will not be released until the full balance is paid. We guarantee validated genetic tests in accordance to AABB standards for Parentage Testing Laboratories. Notarized reports are available in 5-7 business days after samples are received
